Good to know

How do I get my license?

Right after your purchase you’ll receive an email with your license key. Enter it in BandAssist under Settings › License – BandAssist needs internet once for this, then everything runs offline.

What counts as a computer?

The computer BandAssist runs on – usually the laptop at the mixer. Phones and tablets that connect to it over the network (monitor mix, music stand, control panel) are always included. For a new computer, remove the license on the old one and add it on the new one.

What happens after the 30-day trial?

BandAssist falls back to Free – only at the next start, never in the middle of a gig. Your songs, setlists, samples and settings are kept in full; anything beyond the limits of Free can still be viewed.

How do I cancel the annual subscription?

Any time, effective at the end of the paid year – via link.com (with the email address you bought with) or with a short message through the contact form. BandAssist keeps running until the end of the term.

What does “lifetime” mean?

You pay once and use BandAssist without a time limit. Updates are included for one year; after that you can keep using the version from that period indefinitely.

Can I get my money back?

Yes: within 14 days of purchase I’ll refund the full amount, no questions asked. More under Withdrawal and money back.

Does BandAssist need a permanent internet connection?

No. Only to add the license and briefly every few weeks to confirm it; without internet the license stays valid for up to 60 days. So it doesn’t matter at the venue.
