Monitor mix & tablet
The band mixes itself.
Every band member sets their own monitor mix on their own phone, and every view also runs on tablets and phones.
Monitor mix
Everyone sets their own mix.
The band opens the monitor mix on their own phone or tablet, picks their mix the first time – with the bus names from the console – and adjusts it themselves. The device remembers the choice.
- Large, semi-transparent fader caps, with the level still visible underneath
- MUTE takes a channel out of your own mix only, SOLO lets you hear it in your own mix only
- Stereo mixes for in-ears with pan per channel and balance
- Besides the channels, also aux inputs and FX returns, e.g. playback, click and reverb; the tap point can be switched for the whole mix
- Show and hide channels and reorder them by drag & drop – saved per mix; on an iPad in portrait in several rows
Tablet & phone
The console in your hand.
Scan the QR code, enter the PIN – and BandAssist also runs on tablets and phones: the mixer with all channel strips, monitor mix, setlist, music stand, analyzer, tuner, timer, light and control panel.
- The title at the top left opens the same view menu everywhere; on tablets and phones you switch within the same window
- Each view can be added to the home screen as an app on its own – with its own icon and name
- The microphone of your phone or tablet serves as a source for the spectrum and tuner
- PIN protection, the login survives a restart; API key and network settings only on the computer
